Shipping & Dispatch Policy

Lawson Air ships Australia-wide using standard freight and courier services for HVAC equipment, parts, accessories and related products.

By placing an order with Lawson Air, you agree to the shipping and dispatch terms outlined below.

Standard Shipping Timeframes

Standard shipping generally includes 1–2 business days handling time and 2–3 business days delivery time after dispatch.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on stock availability, freight provider delays, delivery location, public holidays, weather conditions and bulky freight requirements.

Shipping Rates

Standard shipping rates are calculated at checkout where available.

Freight costs may vary based on product size, weight, delivery postcode, delivery type and whether the order requires carton, skid or pallet freight. The shipping rates on all of our product are calculated on a m3/kg basis.  

PO Box Deliveries

Most products sold by Lawson Air cannot be shipped to a PO Box. Please provide a physical street address at checkout to avoid delivery delays or failed dispatch.

Freight, Delivery & Shipping Information

Bulky Residential Deliveries Shipping bulky items directly to a residential address will usually cost more than delivery to a commercial address. Delivery drivers will generally only deliver to the ground floor door where access is suitable. Drivers are not required to carry goods upstairs, into lifts, through buildings or inside homes.
Skid & Pallet Deliveries If your order is delivered on a skid or pallet, it will usually be placed outside the premises in a safe and accessible location.
Orders Over 40kg Any order over 40kg will require delivery on a skid or pallet. Customers must ensure suitable access is available for palletised freight deliveries.
Commercial & Heavy Freight Large HVAC systems, ducted systems, VRF equipment and other palletised freight may require forklift access, unloading assistance or suitable commercial delivery access. Failed commercial delivery attempts may incur additional freight charges.
Authority To Leave Unless otherwise requested, deliveries may be left in a safe location if considered appropriate by the freight carrier. Lawson Air is not responsible for theft, weather damage or loss after delivery has been completed.
Damaged Deliveries Please inspect all goods immediately upon delivery. If goods arrive damaged, note the damage with the driver where possible, take photographs and contact Lawson Air within 24 hours. Do not install damaged goods.
Incorrect Shipping Information Customers are responsible for ensuring all shipping details are correct at the time of purchase. Additional freight charges may apply for incorrect addresses, failed deliveries, redirected freight or returned shipments.
Order Tracking Tracking information will be provided once your order has been dispatched where available. Some bulky freight providers may not offer live tracking updates.
Backorders & Supplier Delays Some products may occasionally be unavailable due to supplier shortages or manufacturer delays. If this occurs, our team will contact you with an updated ETA.

Pickup is available from selected Lawson Air warehouse locations. Please wait for a pickup confirmation call or email before arriving, or contact us before pickup to confirm your order is packed and ready.
