Repairs

If your air conditioning system is not working the way it used to, or perhaps not working it all, you may need a diagnostic callout or repair. Firstly check to see if your system is still within the warranty period. If so, call the installation company and determine if the fault is covered under the conditions of the unit manufacturer.

If not, we would be happy to arrange a call out and diagnose the problem for you. But first of all you might like to try the following simple checks and save yourself some time and money.

1. Are the filters clean?
2. Is the unit set to the correct mode? Sun symbol for heating; snowflake symbol for cooling.
3. Is anything blocking the airflow on either the indoor or outdoor units?
4. Is the temperature setting appropriate?
5. Are windows and doors closed?
6. Check the batteries in the remote.

If you are still having problems, then please contact us and we will arrange for a site visit at a time convenient. It is also helpful if you can provide the following details at time of booking:

1. Brand and model of unit
2. Approximate age of unit
3. Fault code if applicable

If your system is working okay but it’s been a while since it’s been looked at, a general service is probably a good idea.
